"I was telling the team before and after the game that with each game that you play in the tournament, it gets progressively more difficult to do what you normally do. You have to be able to figure out how to win a game whichever way the game is being played." UConn Head Coach Geno Auriemma said after the Huskies 72-59 victory in the Sweet 16.

This victory marks the 12 consecutive Elite 8 appearance under Coach Auriemma. "This is an emotional game and obviously you need that to be successful".

Four Huskies were in double figures, led by Collier's 16. "It's the time of year where everyone is fighting for their season, so it's going to be a good game regardless.

Now if you're a common fan seeing UConn only win by 13, it might surprise you, and it surprised the media as well. When Geno was asked, the answer he gave was nothing but perfect. "It's not as easy as we make it look sometimes. This is not easy stuff". "When you are playing against pretty good players, you shouldn't be able to win by the numbers that we win by sometimes, and not certainly in the NCAA tournament. That makes no sense, not at this stage in the tournament anyway".

The Huskies look to keep the perfect season going as they take on South Carolina, for a spot in the Final Four.
