Manchester City Sign NYCFC's Jack Harrison
As fast as he came and developed, he left with a bang. Manchester City have completed the signing of Jack Harrison from sister club New York City, with the player immediately loaned to Middlesbrough for the rest of the season.
The England U21 winger has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Etihad Stadium and impressed in the MLS over the past two campaigns.
In his debut season, 2016, Harrison was nominated for the Rookie of the Year award and the MLS Goal of the Year Award.
Jack Harrison was the electricity to the NYCFC offense and will for sure be difficult to replace. Harrison scored 14 goals in 59 appearances for New York City.
Stoke City was in the rumors to capture the striker, but failed to capitalize and Man City came through and picked up Harrison.
Harrison completed his loan switch to Boro on Tuesday evening before heading across to the Riverside to watch the game against Sheffield Wednesday from the stands.
