Patrice Bergeron Scores FOUR Goals in Bruins Rout Against the Hurricanes
The Boston Bruins have been one of the hottest teams in the NHL. The Bruins have been playing so well that teams in the league have taken noticed and now it’s not going to be an easy win when you face them. Well last night, the face of the franchise Patrice Bergeron had a night for the ages. He finished with FOUR goals in a 7-1 rout of the Carolina Hurricanes. Last time a Burin had four goals in a game was Dave Andreychuck in 1999. Along with Bergeron scoring the goals, Riley Nash (5th of the year), David Pasternak (16th of the year), Jake Debrusk (9th of the year) all joined the party. Backup goalie Anton Khudobin finished with 27 saves in the victory. Jordan Staal had the lone for the Hurricanes that came long in the first period. Bruins are on a roll and playing well. Each line is doing what they need to do to contribute each night and the scoreboard is showing that. They play in Pittsburgh tonight for their final game before the bye week.
