From going 0-12 two years ago, to now going 13-0 and defeating Auburn, a team that defeated two #1 teams during the regular season, in the Peach Bowl on New Year's Day. UCF has had a storybook season and they capped it off today with a 34-27 win over Auburn in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

Quarterback Mckenzie Milton finished with 242 yards, and 2 touchdowns. He also ran for 116 yards and a touchdown.

Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham had 331 yards and a touchdown. Kerryon Johnson had 22 rushes and went 71 yards and a touchdown for the Tigers.

Auburn struck first with a 25-yard field goal from Daniel Carson to give the Tigers a 3-0 lead with 7:01 left in the first quarter.

It took until the second quarter for the next score and it came on a Matthew Wright 33-yard field goal that tied the game at 3.

Three minutes later Milton ran 18-yards for the score to put the Black Knights up 10-3.

Auburn scored again with 0:45 seconds left in the half on a Carson 46-yard field goal.

Matthew Wright drained a 45-yard field goal right at the end of the half to give UCF a 13-6 halftime lead.

To open up the half Stidham found Will Hastings for a 26 yard touchdown, to tie the game, 13-13.

After the Auburn defense forced as punt, Kerryon Johnson punched it in the end zone from 4-yards out to give Auburn a 20-13 lead.

UCF wasn’t done yet though, to close out the third quarter Milton hit Otis Anderson for a 12-yard touchdown and knotted the contest up again at 20.

The Black Knights forced a punt and scored again, on a Milton pass to Dredrick Snelson for 8-yards and a touchdown. That put UCF up 27-20 with 11:36 left.

After another forced punt UCF drove down the field and set up for another field goal, this time from 25-yards out. It was blocked by Auburn and the Tigers retained possession at their own 20.

After the blocked field goal Stidham threw an interception on the fourth play of the drive and it was returned by Chequan Burkett for a touchdown. UCF led 34-20.

The Tigers were not done, Stidham put this team on his back and drove them down the field, ending in a 7-yard touchdown run from Eli Stove. UCF 34, Auburn 27 with just 4:12 remaining.

Once again milton drove UCF down the field and once again they set up for a field goal, this time from 38-yards. Wright missed, wide right and Auburn took over at their own 21 yar line with 2:11 remaining.

With 1:24 Auburn faced a 4th and 8 and Stidham completed a missle to Hastings for a 1st down and a 12-yard gain. With 24 seconds left UCF brought the pressure and Stidham threw up a pass and it was picked off in the end zone by Antwan Collier to seal the deal.
