Long Ball Plays Big Part in Dodgers Game 1 Victory
The long ball was a huge part in Game 1 of the World Series last night. All 4 runs were scored via the home run. The Dodgers struck first in the bottom of the first, the very first pitch to leadoff hitter Chris Taylor was sent into the left field bleachers, and the Dodgers were up 1-0. Then in the fourth inning, rookie Alex Bregman also hit a home run to left to tie it up at 1 apiece. Then finally in the sixth inning, Justin Turner hit one out, to left center and Taylor scored. The Dodgers won 3-1 and take a 1-0 series lead. Game 2 will be played tonight (10/25) at 8 PM on FOX.
