Judge and CC Standout, Yankees Stay Hot at Home to Beat the Astros 8-1

All rise! Aaron Judge finally decided to show up in the postseason! Nobody has said it better, the ballpark fits the player. Judge had two spectacular diving play and a three-run homer as the Yankees topped the Astros in Game 3 of the ALCS 8-1. CC pitched outstanding and the Yankees cut the series deficit to 2-1.
The headline of the night, CC Sabathia. I can’t agree more with what Kaleb said on On the Bump, who would have though CC to be one of the Yankees top 3 pitchers? The depth of the rotation is insane, but the veteran has found his spot fairly nicely with his contract running out at the end of the season. CC threw six scoreless only allowing three hits in the victory.
The offense was clicking for the Bronx Bombers, starting off with the Todd Father. Frazier hit the go-ahead, three-run homer, a “Yankee Stadium” homerun on an insanely low outside pitch. The offense followed and so did Aaron Judge (Thank God). Judge came into game 3 in a postseason slump, 4-for-29 (.129).
After a pair of losses vs Houston, the Yankees were up 8-0 after four innings. New York continues their home dominance, getting to 4-0 on the Postseason in the Bronx. Sonny Grey and Lance McCullers are set to start game 4, first pitch 4pm on Tuesday.
