Ichabod Crane, Maple Hill Boys Soccer Pick Up Huge Wins In Maple Hill Tournament Semifinals
The annual Maple Hill Soccer Tournament is being held this weekend and the competition is just great! Some very good soccer teams are going head to head this weekend and there are two teams that headline this tournament and that would be the #5 ranked Class B team in the state Ichabod Crane and the #17 ranked Class C team in the state Maple Hill. Ichabod took on Glens Falls in game 1 at 1:15 and DOMINATED. They led 8-0 AT THE HALF. Yes you read that correctly, 8 goals in one half. They would go on to win 10-0 and continue to Monday's Championship game. Who would they play though? Well that was decided right next to them on the other field. Maple Hill was taking on Galway in a tough battle. Maple Hill came out on top 1-0. So Ichabod Crane will be tanking on Maple Hill in what should be a great battle between two state ranked teams. The championship will be on Monday, October 9th at 1:15 pm.
