Upstate Sports Zone’s Section 2 Athlete of the Week: Joey Ward

Upstate Sports Zone’s Athlete of the Week for week two of the fall season is Troy running back Joey Ward!
The Flying Horses traveled to Guilderland this week to take on the Bulldogs. Troy was dominant, defeating them 59-26. Ward had a HUGE impact on the game, rushing for 208 yards, and 5 touchdowns on 20 carries. He also threw a 69-yard touchdown and caught 3 passes for 29 yards and caught a touchdown.
Troy takes on La Salle Friday night at 7:00 pm at La Salle.
