Justin Thomas Wins the Dell Technologies Championship

This Labor Day Weekend, Justin Thomas rolled into TPC Boston red hot in the race for the FedEx Cup. This weekend we got to watch golf on Sunday and Monday, and it was between two buddies, Jordan Speith and Justin Thomas. Only one could pull away with the victory.

On Labor Day, Justin Thomas posted a final round 66 to capture a statement victory. This is Thomas’ fifth victory on Tour this season. JT started his final round with two pars and a birdie, but wasn’t good enough to maintain with the top leaders in Jordan and Marc Leishman, both shooting 30 on the front nine. The mindset of Justin Thomas was beyond keeping it within the leaders, he just blew it out of proportion on the reachable Par 4 Fourth. Thomas drove the green just short of the pin and sunk a 32 footer for eagle two. Both Leishman and Spieth both strugleled on the back nine while Thomas would finish with three birdies and only one bogey on the back to seal the deal the 66 and the championship.
