Upstate Sports Zone Game of the Week: Hudson vs. Glens Falls
Game Location: Hudson High School
Preview: A rematch of last year’s Class B Super Bowl rematch between the champ, Glens Falls, and the revenge seeking Bluehawks of Hudson. Hudson opens up the season with a new look, on some new turf that is. After losing 62-12 in the Super Bowl, the rowdy Hudson fans are back for redemption. The Class B State Champion Glens Falls is led by star studded QB Joe Girard III, who is not only racking up TD’s, but college offers as well. Kickoff is set for 7PM at Hudson High School in Upstate Sports Zone’s game of the week.
Things to Lookout For This Week
Troy (Class AA), Glens Falls (Class B) and Cambridge (Class D) all captured state championships in 2016. No area team has ever won back-to-back state titles at the Syracuse Carrier Dome. Troy, Glens Falls and Cambridge remain viable sectional title contenders this season.
