NYCFC Tops New England, Sits in Comfortable Position Heading into NY Derby

The hottest soccer in MLS is coming from the boys in blue, NYCFC. Currently on a tear at 13 wins and 46 points, City sits 2nd place in the East and the Supporters shield. Ahead of tonight's matchup against the Revs, expectations were high, as NYC looked so make themselves sit pretty ahead of the Hudson River Derby.

A very slow start for both teams tonight in the Bronx, defense playing solid and the offense with no ignition whatsoever. But as we have seen, the Boys in Blue, just don't quit. Playing from behind again tonight after Teal Bundbury gave the Revs a lead in the 57th minute. Oh but who other than El Guaje to tally the comeback goal for NYC in the 77th minute. The story of NYC the last couple years has been the usage of Superdraft pics, and Jonathan Lewis has just been clutch. Grabbing his first career goal last match, but giving the club the game winner tonight and 3 points.
