Rafael Devers finally got his first MLB hit in Seattle today, and it was a 427-foot BOMB.
Devers is known for his bat and to me it’s no surprise his first hit was a home run. Dude hits bombs. He hit absolute moonshots in AA and AAA. Hopefully Devers can keep this up and continue to hit bombs off of MLB pitching. Now we just need his glove to come along and maybe, just maybe he will be our third baseman of the future. Devers was also the youngest Red Sox player to hit a home run since Tony Conigliaro.
