Cowboys Focus on Football in California
The Dallas Cowboys initiated their training camp in California to try and focus on football amid problems with commitment and investigations with some key players. Ezekiel Elliot stands out with his domestic violence investigation by the NFL on acts made before entering the league. The NFL still has yet to decide whether to punish the star running back and how they would do it. In their latest press conference both Jerry Jones (owner) and Jason Garrett (head coach) express how they stand by the athlete. Other smaller circumstances have occurred with other players missing practices. The Cowboys look to have another great season behind their second year quarterback, Dak Prescott. All Dallas fans are hoping for no punishment for their running back or any of the other players facing investigations. The Cowboys' front office brought the camp to California because the believed it would help the team just focus on the game and not the media and publicity behind it all.
