Ondrej Palat Resigns to Remain in the Bay
Forward Ondrej Palat and the Tampa Bay Lighting agreed to a 5yr/$26.5M dollar deal to avoid arbitration. Again, GM Steve Yzmerman made it a goal to give Palat a new contract. Palat is coming off season where he finished with 17 goals, 35 assists which totaled up to 52 points. With Palat signing the Lighting should be one of the best offensives teams in the league because they’re young, fast, and they can score the puck. Gm Steve Yzerman should be very happy with his offseason because he resigned the two major players he promised he would resign, and he picked up two great veteran free agents in Chris Kunitz and Dan Girardi.
