Manchester United Release Ibrahimovic
In an unexpected turn of events, Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been released from Manchester United and did not receive a contract extension offer. This came as a shocker to most people, as Zlatan had a solid season for the club. Although he did suffer a season-ending knee ligament injury in April, he scored 17 goals for the team. Now in his mid-thirties, it is possible that Zlatan may look towards coming to the MLS to end his career. It is also possible he might look to win a Champions League Title with a more talented roster. He will be officially released from the club on June 30, and will have a busy summer deciding where he will end up next.
