Tyler Toffoli Signs Extension With Kings
Los Angeles Kings forward Tyler Toffoli signed a contract extension with the Kings on Wednesday, June 7. The contract was for 3 years for 13.8 million dollars, giving Toffoli 4.6 million dollars per year. Toffoli, who is 25 years old has already won a Stanley Cup with the Kings in 2014, and a gold medal with Team Canada in 2015. Last year Toffoli posted 34 points with 16 goals and 18 assists with the club in 63 games. A minor surgery on his left knee kept Toffoli sidelined for 19 games. Toffoli had his best season in the 2015-2016 NHL season when he posted 58 points with 31 goals and 27 assists through 82 games. Toffoli has a bright future ahead of him as one of the King's key players in years to come and as a future star throughout the NHL itself.
