Ducks Even the Series, Head to Nashville
Anaheim was coming off a tough overtime loss in Game 1 and they were looking to respond with a win. They responded with a 5-3 win over the Predators to tie the series at one and head to Nashville for Game 3. Nashville came out of the gates fast scoring two goals early which were scored by Ryan Johansen and James Neal. Nashville took a 2-0 lead, but the Ducks stormed back and never looked back. Sami Vatanen sparked the comeback with his first goal of the playoffs. Later in the period Jackob Silfverberg got an easy rebound tap in goal to tie the game at 2 and Anaheim fueled off the raucous crowed to go on and win the game. The goals came in bunches for the Ducks and in the end, they evened the series at 1 with a 5-3 win. Gibson finished with 33 saves. Game 3 is on Tuesday night at 8:00pm on EST on NBCSN.
