Chelsea Tops West Brom, Clinches Premier League Title
Chelsea was able to defeat West Brom on Friday to ensure their second Premier League title in the last three years. An 82nd minute goal from youngster Michy Batshuayi led the Blues to victory. Chelsea had a very disappointing season one year ago, finishing in the middle of the table. This year however, they sought revenge and held the first place spot for the majority of the season. It seemed as if nobody would ever catch up to them. The Blues’ chemistry throughout the year was something that really caught my eye. Every time I watched a match of theirs it seemed as if they were enjoying every second. I think team chemistry in soccer is very underestimated, but Chelsea was able to perfect it. There are still some good matches left, and with that we will see where other teams finish.
