Celtics Beat Up on Wizards, Take Game 5
Back in Boston for game 5 and the Celtics proved how big home court advantage is, beating the Wizards 123-101. Avery Bradley was absolutely magnificent scoring 25 of his 29 points in the first half. Al Horford added 19 and 7 assists and Isaiah Thomas had 18 and 9 assists. The Celtics really needed this game for their confidence and I think they found the guy that's gonna step up when IT isn't playing well and that's Avery Bradley. Bradley has been on the team way back when KG and Paul Pierce were still on the squad. He's got a lot of mental strength and he learned from those veteran guys. Now he's the veterans to step up and show that he's one of the best defenders and shooters this league has to offer. On the Wizards side of the ball John Wall had 21 points and Bradley Beal added 16. Other than those two guys the Wizards didn’t really have much offense. Both benches were very quite this game, Kelly Oubre Jr had 13 and led both benches. Game 6 will be in Washington on Friday, May 12th at 8:00 pm. If necessary game 7 will be on May 15th in Boston at 8:00 pm.
