Celtics Drop Game 4, Return To Boston With Series Tied 2-2
The Celtics took Game 1 and 2 against rival the Washington Wizards, but dropped games 3 and 4 to even the series at 2. Tonight the Celtics got beat by 19, 121-102. After leading 37-26 the C’s let the Wizards tie it at 48 going into the half and eventually the Wizards would go on a 26-0 3rd quarter run to break the game WIDE open. John Wall was on absolute fire as he finished with 27. His partner in crime Bradley Beal finished with 29. The Celtics had no life. Their leading scorer was Isaiah Thomas with 19 points. Terry Rozier helped out of the bench with 16 points and Kelly Olynyk added 14. Other than that the C’s were silent and if they continue to play like this there is no shot that they will advance to the next round. The Wizards are a very good team that takes advantage of mistakes and that’s what happened the last two games. The Celtics return home for Game 5 on Wednesday at 8:00 pm. They go back to Washington for Game 6 on Friday and return to Boston for Game 7 if necessary on Monday. If the Celtics want this series win they absolutely need to win on Wednesday.
