Ducks Powerback, Take Game 4
The Anaheim Ducks were able to tie their series with the Edmonton Oilers as they took game 4 in overtime by a score of 4-3. The Oilers would be first to strike this game as Milan Lucic would jump on a loose puck and he would bury it on the powerplay to make it 1-0. Connor McDavid would score 2 minutes later as he would snipe the puck past Gibson’s glove to make it 2-0 going into the first intermission, but the Ducks would not stay down for long. Only 1 minute into the second period Ryan Getzlaf would snipe the puck blocker side on Talbot to make it 2-1. Around 4 minutes later Rickard Rakell would get a beautiful feed from Getzlaf and Rakell would put it in the net to make it 2-2. Then with 6 minutes left in the second Getzlaf would score his second of the game to make it 3-2 as he put the puck in off of a Oilers stick. Then going into the third it was all in favor of the Ducks to take this game, but then there was a spark. With 2 minutes left in the game there was a rebound in front of John Gibson and Drake Caggiula would jump on that rebound to tie the game at 3-3. This game would take a pivotal overtime period, and at that a short one as well. Only 45 seconds into the overtime period Ryan Getzlaf would feed a pass to Jakob Silfverberg who would one time the puck past Talbot to win the game in overtime for the Ducks to tie this best of seven series at 2 games a piece.
