Get Your Brooms Out! Ducks Sweep Flames.
The Anaheim Ducks completed the sweep of the Calgary Flames beating them 3-1. Patrick Eaves and Nate Thompson got the scoring started for Anaheim. Calgary made it a one point game by a goal from Sean Monahan, his fourth goal of the series, but that wasn't enough. Ryan Getzlaf put the nail in the coffin with the empty net goal and the Ducks won 3-1. John Gibson finished with 36 saves. The Flames looked overmatched and Ducks took advantage of that. Calgary is a young team that is on the upcoming and if your a Flames fan it was a tough series, but you've got to be happy because the future is bright and they have the star in the making with Johnny Gaudreau. With the series over in four games, Anaheim will await the winner of the Sharks vs. Oilers winner.
