Blues Take 2-0 Series Lead Back to St. Louis With a 2-1 Win Over the Wild.
The St. Louis Blues are coming home to a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Minnesota Wild by beating them to a score of 2-1. The first period was scoreless, physical, and your occasional pushing back and forth in front of the goalie. In the second, Joel Edmundson put the Blues on the board with his second of the series. Later in the period Zach Parise tied it up with his second goal of the series also. In the start of the third, the Blues wasted no time to take the lead back with a goal from Jordan Schwartz assisted by Alex Pietrangelo and Kyle Brodziak. Jake Allen played well again finishing with 23 saves. Can the Blues make it 3-0? We’ll find out on Sunday at 3:00 pm EST on NBC.
