Severino Drops 12K’s on the Rays, Yankees Sweep
The Yankees have gotten off to a solid start for the season. This weekend they made themselves known at home when they got out to a 3-0 start. The biggest question for the Yankees this season coming in was their rotation. This weekend Jordan Montgomery stepped up for the Yanks, throwing 4.2 innings, 5 hits, 2 earned. A solid start for a rookie at Yankee stadium. In game 3 of 3 it was all about Severino, he was dealing for the Yanks, sitting down 12. Aaron Judge is currently on a tear, he has three home runs in his first 9 games.
With the sweep, the win put the Yankees at the .500 mark, a good boost ahead of facing a solid the NL Central Cardinals. That series starts tonight at 7:05 on YES.
