Getzlaf and the Ducks Take Game 1 Over the Flames
The Anaheim Ducks pulled out the victory at home against the Flames wining 3-2. Ryan Getzlaf put the Ducks on the board first early in the 1st period. Later in the period, Sean Monahan of the Flames tied it at 1. Start of the second the Flames took the lead on a Sam Bennett goal that put the Flames in the lead. But not for long because the Ducks tied it back up with a Rickard Rakell goal in the 2nd period. Then Jakob Silfverberg scored to help the Ducks retake the lead and eventually became the game winning goal. John Gibson played well made 30 saves. These two teams are back in action on Saturday night, April 15th at 10:30 pm EST on NBCSN
