Blues Win a Crazy One in OT over the Wild, Take Game 1
The St. Louis Blues came into St. Paul and took care of business over the Wild. The Blues had control over the whole game going into the third period where the Wild had chances to tie the game at one. Jake Allen was standing on his head making save after save to keep the Wild off the board. Vladimir Sobotka scored first for the Blues in the second period. Later in the third, the Wild started to get more chances in the offensive zone, and with 23 seconds left to go in the game Zach Parise put the puck in the net from a beautiful touch pass from Michael Granlund to send the game into overtime. The overtime was fast paced and the Blues scored by Joel Edmundson to take a tough game 1 from the Wild 2-1. Game 2 is Friday, April 14th at 8:00 PM est on NBCSN.
