Kansas Kills Purdue, Midwest Region Sweet 16 Breakdown

Michigan in hopes they could upset the Ducks, but Oregon stood strong defeating the Wolverines 69-68 in a game that would come down to the last shot and it fell in the hands of Derrick Walton Jr. who came up just short with a three ball. The second game was between #1 Kansas and #4 Purdue. Kansas was having nothing of the upset talk and blew out Purdue 98-66! Frank Mason III and Devonte Graham each finished with 26 a piece. Naismith Award candidate Caleb Swanigan only managed 18 for the Boilermakers. The Elite Eight game will be played on Saturday, March 25th at 8:49 pm on TBS at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri between the #1 Kansas Jayhawks and #3 Oregon Ducks.
