United States Advance To Semifinals, WBC Round 2 Recap
The United States have advanced to the World Baseball Classic Semifinals! After an outstanding win over defending champion Dominican Republic 6-4 in San Diego last night. The US will now take on Japan in the WBC Semifinals on March 21st at 9:00 pm in Los Angeles, California at Dodger Stadium. The other semifinal game will include the Netherlands and Puerto Rico who is looking to get back to the championship after falling to the Dominican Republic last year. They play at 9:00 pm on March 20th. I think the US has a great chance to get to the championship game on Monday and I think they will. A lot of the guys on the US team have played the guys on Japan’s team in the game between the MLB All-Stars and the Japanese All-Stars. In the other semifinal game I think the Puerto Rico will remain undefeated in the World Baseball Classic and move on to the Championship game. The Championship game will be on Monday, March 22nd at 9:00 pm. Whoever plays in that game it is sure to be an epic matchup!
