Marshawn Lynch Return to NFL?
There's been rumors going around the NFL that Marshawn Lynch could possibly be coming out of retirement. Marshawn has only been retired for one year. The Seahawks' star running back announced retirement in his tenth season in the NFL. Lynch, who was having a bad season due to many injuries interrupting his play, decided it was time to hang up his cleats for good. Marshawn still had a few years left in his contract, which means the Seahawks still own him. If Lynch does return the Seahawks would have the decision to keep, trade, or cut him. The Raiders have been in talks with him about making a return to his hometown. Essentially Lynch would be coming out of retirement to play for Oakland. The question is whether or not the Seahawks will keep him on the roster or not. He is a strong player with a lot of experience, yet he's turning 31 next month and his longevity is in question. If he does make a return it will be something to see wherever he ends up.
