Top 3 RBs In The 2017 NFL Draft
Dalvin Cook
College: Florida State
Dalvin Cook went into the combine looking like he would dominate the stations. Cook had a rough NFL Combine. Which could jeopardize him getting drafted early in the first round. Sometimes players have their off days, and unfortunately for him it came at the worst time. NFL executives should base their analysis of him off of his college career. Cook had a total of 48 touchdowns in his three years at Florida State. Most of which were in the run game. Cook could be a good addition to any team in need of a strong running back.
Leonard Fournette
College: LSU
Leonard Fournette is probably the favorite running back in this class. He is a large running back and he’s not afraid to lower his shoulder into an interior linebacker so he can get the extra yards. Something that many scouts love to see in potential players. Fournette has had his injuries over his college career and because of his frequent injuries scouts worry about his longevity. Fournette is a strong, explosive runner and can offer a lot to any team that takes him in the draft.
Christian McCaffrey
College: Stanford
McCaffrey is a multidimensional runner. He’s nothing too special in his size and speed but his vision of the field and his ability to find holes and hit them seamlessly is what makes him one of the top running backs. His performance at Stanford went under the radar. He can return punts and kicks and turn them into touchdowns. McCaffrey could be very key to his potential team just because of his ability to read his keys and adapt quickly.
