Warriors in a Slump? Andy's NBA Going Up, Going Down Playoff Push Edition
The NBA season is almost finished with just a month of competition left. We will take a look at some of the teams that could have a playoff push with just about 20 games to go for each team.
Going Up
Washington Wizards: The Wizards have been on a tear lately winning four of their last five. They are slowly creeping up to the Celtics for the No. 2 seed in the conference. They have to give it up for Bradley Beal who is averaging 27.3 points in the last three games. If they can keep up this winning streak, they could have a shot in getting the No. 2 seed in the conference. Their next game is tomorrow night in Sacramento against the Kings.
Going Down
Los Angeles Lakers: Remember when the Lakers were on a winning streak and we thought that they could have a shot at playoff contention at one point. Wrong! The Lakers have been on an eight game losing streak and are almost eliminated from playoff contention. They are dead last in the Western Conference and have no sign of getting back near the top (at least this season).
Warriors in a slump:
The Warriors haven't been playing their best games in their last few games. They have lost three of their last five including a horrible loss against the Celtics in which the Warriors had 86 points (lowest of the year). If it can't get any worse for the Warriors, the Spurs are only 1.5 games away from the No. 1 seed, which the Warriors hold. The Warriors better get back on track and quickly.
