Duke Holds Off North Carolina, Keep the Rivalry Alive

Another great game in the classic UNC vs. Duke rivalry. Game being played at Cameron Indoor; the atmosphere you could tell changed the way Carolina plays their brand of basketball. Duke captured the victory over UNC 86-78 Thursday night in a game to remember.

The whole game was controlled by Duke, making a statement from 3, hitting 7-12 for the night. Carolina this season has been known for the 3 ball, this game although they only hit 4-12 from the distance. North Carolina also struggled in one of their usual keys to victory, free throws. Shooting only 10-18 on the night, Carolina is usually a team that is 80% every game, the struggled showed on Thursday. The big play of the game was when Jason Tatum slammed the dunk in over Kennedy Meeks. Grayson Allen at 25 for Duke and Jackson had 21 for UNC.
