There Is A Bright Future In Rocky Top by Camdyn Ames
Tuesday was a great night for basketball on Rocky Top, defeating SEC rival and 4th ranked Kentucky is a huge accomplishment… especially if you’ve done it twice. For Tennessee Men’s Basketball coach Rick Barnes that statement is true. Last year the Vols did the exact same thing and upset the Wildcats. Things are looking up for the Vols. With only 2 seniors (Robert Hubbs III and Lew Evans) the team is very young and consists of 8 freshman and 5 sophomores. This team could be a force in the SEC in coming years with guys like Jordan Bone, Jordan Bowden, Grant Williams, Shembari Phillips, Admiral Schofield, Kyle Alexander, Lamonte Turner, John Fulkerson and Kwe Parker. Last nights win for the Vols is a huge stepping stone especially with a young squad like this. The future is bright for basketball on Rocky Top!
