Ventura Passes Away At 25 by Camdyn Ames
On Saturday evening Kansas City Royals pitcher Yordano Ventura passed away in a car crash in the Dominican Republic. He was 25. Ventura went 11-12 this year with a 4.45 ERA in 186.0 innings allowing 96 runs on 190 hits. Ventura finished his career with a 38-31 record, a 3.89 ERA in 547.2 innings allowing 247 runs on 525 hits, walking 211 and striking out 470. Ventura was a great young pitcher who was on the verge of becoming a star. He will be missed greatly.
