Joe Delollo, Ray Evans and La Salle Cash In, Win Close Game Over Cohoes by Caden Balint
Tonight La Salle Institute traveled to Cohoes to take on the JV and varsity basketball teams. For, the start of the Varsity game, it was all La Salle taking a 12-0 lead, getting point contributions from their starting five, Ray Evans, Tim Carroll, Ian Duncan, Joe Delollo and Kyle Borey. Then it was back and forth between these two teams. They would exchange 3 pointers almost every rush. A plus for La Salle is that they always held the lead through each quarter. Cohoes would keep the Cadets on their toes through the last quarter, tying the game late, but the Cadets would hold on to win the game by a score of 55-48. Leading scorers for La Salle was Joe Delollo and Ray Evans both with 15. La Salle is back in action on the 28th against rival CBA in their Christmas tournament. The Cadets improve to 7-2 after this win and 3rd place in the Colonial Council with Ichabod Crane beating Burgh tonight. Ichabod vs. La Salle will definitely be a big game for both teams.
