Donnel Pumphrey Breaks FBS All-Time Rushing Record by Camdyn Ames
On Saturday night Donnel Pumphrey finished his college career with 19 carries, 115 yards, and 1 touchdown. One of those 19 carries was a 15 yard rush in the 4th quarter that broke Ron Daynes record of 6,397 yards. San Diego State also cruised to a 34-10 Vegas Bowl win over Houston.
The #7125 is the amount of rushing yards Dayne really had. In his time bowl games didn't count toward season stats. Now Pumphreys stats in his bowl game count towards his season stats so technically Dayne is still the all time leading rusher in FBS history.
