Cadets Hockey Stay Hot, Extending the Winning Streak to 5 against BHBS by Jake Martino

FINAL: La Salle 5 BHBS 4

Another game, another hat trick for La Salle’s Logan Discanio. Currently at 3 straight hat tricks in 3 straight games he is putting his team on his back this season. He brought all that momentum right into the game against BHBS who just recently stunned Bethlehem in OT. Discanio opened the scoring for La Salle and he would score two more goals after that.

It was a back and fourth game and BHBS wouldn't go down without a fight. Right after Discanio opened the scoring it was Sam Swingruber coming right back with a goal for BHBS. Other than Discanio scoring for the Cadets in a high scoring affair it was Senior Sam Mulson adding two more late in the game.

But the night didn't belong to Discanio and Mulson, it was junior Casey Boone who earned his first varsity win the most difficult way possible. He had 26 saves and six penalty kills. La Salle dominated on offense with a goal advantage of 43-30.
