La Salle Get Offense Going in Dominant Win Over Cobleskill by Caden Balint

Last night the La Salle Cadets travelled to Cobleskill to take on the Bulldogs in varsity basketball. La Salle came bursting out of the gate scoring 15 before Cobleskill was able to score something. They started off with Tim Carrol, Ian Duncan, Kyle Borey, Joe Dello, and Ray Evans. The scoring all started thanks to 3 from Ian Duncan, and then it was all Cadets from there. With Kyle Borey sinking 2 3’s, Joe Dello picking up rebounds and putting them in for 2’s, Ray Evans sinking a couple 3’s, and Tim Carrol making some 2’s as well. The score at the end of the first was 22 to 6 for La Salle. With no sight of slowing down they came out into the second scoring 14 points, to hold a 36-15 lead going into the half. Then came the 3rd quarter. La Salle padded onto their lead thanks to 3’s from Seth LaForest and Dominick Parker, and also coming to a close in the 3rd Jalani Wiggins. That dunk to help La Salle hold their lead of 42-18. Then La Salle would score only 11 points in the last half of the game while Cobleskill was held to only 7 points that quarter. La Salle would go on to win the game 53-25. Joe Dello scored 12 points in this game. Their next game is home against Lansingburgh at 6:30 where they look to improve to 5-1.
