Jeff Fisher Fired by Rams by Andrew Martin
On Monday, Jeff Fisher was fired by the Rams. The Rams season has been a depressing one, just like all of the rest in the past few years. Jeff Fisher is, in my mind, one of the worst NFL coaches in NFL history. He is tied for the worst record for any head coach in NFL history, with a record of 178-171-1, including the postseason. He was the head coach of the Titans before going to the Rams after the 2010 season. The Rams will have special-teams coordinator, John Fassel, take over as the interim coach for the Rams for the remainder of the season. His first challenge will be this Thursday vs. the Seahawks which will be a tough one for the Rams. We will have to see how the Rams’ rest of the season plays out and see if firing Jeff Fisher was a good thing.
