Boston Red Sox Offseason Moves, Winter Meetings 2016 by Camdyn Ames
The Boston Red Sox made some big moves so far this offseason, and I can see maybe another one coming. The Red Sox first move was trading Third Baseman Travis Shaw, and minor leaguers Mauricio Dubon, and Josh Pennington. The second move was acquiring Chicago White Sox ace Chris Sale, who they attempted to get before last years trade deadline. They traded young stars Yoan Moncada, Michael Kopech and Luis Alexander Basabe and Victor Diaz. Sale will add to the pitching rotation of AL Cy Young award winner Rick Porcello, and All-Star David Price. Tyler Thornburg will most likely come out of the bullpen as a set up pitcher for closer Craig Kimbrel.
