It was a season to remember for NYCFC for their second season. 2nd in the Eastern Conference and made it to the Conference Semi’s for only their second season in existence. Some players have proved to potential stay another year, while some others will no longer be on NYCFC for next season. Here is the NYCFC rosters for 2017.
Options Declined: (Not Returning to NYCFC)
Connor Brandit – had injury problems and never played for NYCFC
Jason Hernandez
Diego Martinez- dropped due to fine by MLS
Tony Taylor
With NYCFC declining their contract option on Jason Hernandez only three players remain from NYCFC's first ever lineup.
