Sunday November 20th NBA Preview/ Standings and Results From Saturday By Andrew Martin
The NBA has 6 games going tonight and one of them was already played earlier today. A matchup between the Knicks and Hawks was played and the Knicks upset the Hawks at Madison Square Garden with Carmelo Anthony getting 31 points. Anyway, let’s look at the rest of the matchups going on tonight.
Key Three Matchups
Bulls (8-5) vs. Lakers (7-6): The Bulls have a 4 game winning streak going into tonight’s game against the Lakers, but that’s not the main focus for tonight. The main thing tonight is the injuries for both teams. The Bulls will be without three of their main guys tonight, Dwyane Wade, Doug McDermott, and Rajon Rondo. The Lakers will also have a key inactive tonight with D’Angelo Russell. For me, this game could be a close one with those inactive tonight, but because the Lakers rank near the bottom of the league in opponent points per game, I have to go with the Bulls tonight.
My pick: Bulls -5
Raptors (8-4) vs. Kings (4-9): The Kings are coming into this game on a four game losing streak with their last game being a close one with the Clippers. Three of their last four losses have been decided by 5 or less points including games with the Clippers, Spurs, and Trail Blazers. The Raptors are coming in hot with their two losses in their last five coming from the Cavs and Warriors. I think that DeMarcus Cousins will have another great game, but DeMar DeRozan will have an even better one tonight (like he has had enough this season).
My pick: Raptors -8
Pacers (6-7) vs. Thunder (8-5): Here we go again with the Thunder on one of the Key Three Matchups. The Thunder are still looking like a playoff contending team, especially with the combo of Russell Westbrook and Victor Oladipo. In my opinion, they could go very far this season and they will out a victory tonight.
My pick: Thunder -10
