From the start Siena had no hope within themselves to beat nationally ranked Kansas. But they did show potential throughout the game. Siena Senior Marquis Wright hit three straight three pointers midway through the second half. His three pointers brought Jimmy Patsos squad to within 5 with about 8 minutes left to play. Nobody knows what happened with the Saints after that. The Jayhawks then opened the lead with a 16-2 run. You could tell that only 2 defenders were really trying for the Saints as Frank Mason, Vick and Devonte Graham scored 20 straight baskets for Kansas. For the Saints Marquis Wright picked up where he left off last game scoring 25 points and Ogunyemi added 19 for Siena in the loss. The Saints are back in action Sunday against reigning Big South Champion UNC-Ashville.
