Thursday November 17th NBA Preview and Results From Wednesday by Andrew Martin
The NBA has 5 games going tonight and my Key Three Matchups are definitely matchups you need to see!
Key Three Matchups
Bulls (7-4) vs. Jazz (7-5): We have a matchup here that could be closely contested. We have a matchup with two of the best small forwards in the game (Jimmy Butler and Gordon Hayward). Both are averaging over 20 points a game and are ranked in the top 10 for most points per game for small forwards. I think this game could be a toss up, but since the Bulls have their two best point guards out tonight, Rajon Rondo and Michael Carter-Williams, I have to go with the Jazz tonight.
My pick: Jazz -4
Trail Blazers (7-5) vs. Rockets (6-5): Again, another close game with two really good offensive teams each averaging about 107 points per game, both are in the top 10 for that category. The Rockets will be without starting point guard Patrick Beverley and Nene tonight, but they will still have James Harden tonight. I think that, with a healthy team, the Trail Blazers will pull it out tonight.
My pick: Trail Blazers -5
Bucks (5-5) vs. Heat (2-8): The Heat have been just doing terrible this season and at rate they're going, they're probably going to have a worse record than last year. The bucks have been having an okay start so far going 5-5. The Greek Freak is going off so far this year. He is averaging about 22 points a game and almost 9 rebounds per game and also have been looking good with the addition of Matthew Dellavedova. The Heat have a 6 game losing streak for the first time since 2008 and I expect it to get to 7 by the end of the end of the night.
My pick: Bucks -10
