Wednesday November 16th NBA Preview and Results from Tuesday By Andrew Martin

The NBA has 11 games going tonight and they all look to be crucial games for each of the 22 teams playing tonight. Here are my Key Three Matchups for tonight.

Key Three Matchups

  1. Warriors (8-2) vs. Raptors (7-3): This is probably going to be a high scoring game. I believe this because, the Warriors and the Raptors have amazing offenses, but satisfactory defenses. I mean sure the Warriors have Zaza Pachulia and the Raptors have Jonas Valanciunas, but let’s face it that’s about it for both teams. The Warriors are on a four game winning streak and the have the highest field goal percentage in the league. I just don’t that the duo of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan won’t stop KD and Steph tonight.

My pick: Warriors -3

  1. Rockets (6-4) vs. Thunder (6-5): Two evenly matched teams going at it tonight for the first time tonight. Both teams have elite players in James Harden and Russell Westbrook and both of them are in the top 5 in points per game. With the Thunder in a bit of a slump losing their last four games, they have a disadvantage in this game, but I think that they can come out of that slump with a Rockets defense that is not doing so well with opponent field goal percentage.

My pick: Thunder -5

  1. Cavaliers (9-1) vs. Pacers (5-6): This game could be an upset tonight. The Pacers have been looking decent the last few games and the Cavs will be without two of their starters, J.R. Smith (ankle) and LeBron James (rest). Paul George has been looking good in the past few games and i think he will have at least 15 points tonight.

My pick: Pacers -2

Results From Tuesday

Yesterday, I said that the Cavs would beat the Raptors by 1 point. The Cavaliers won 121-117 with LeBron getting 28 points and 14 assists. Also, I said that the Bulls would beat the Trail Blazers by 2. The Bulls won 113-88 with Jimmy Butler putting up 27 points and 12 rebounds. Finally, I predicted that the Timberwolves would beat the Hornets by 4. The Hornets won 115-108 with Kemba Walker putting up 30 points.
