Sunday November 13th NBA Preview By Andrew Martin (Debut Article!)
The NBA season is getting off to a hot start so far and tonight we have 5 games going tonight. I will give you my Key Three Matchups for tonight:
Key Three Matchups
Hornets (6-2) vs. Cavaliers (7-1): This is a big game for both teams. Both are at the top of the Eastern Conference and the Hornets are looking to bounce back after their 2 point loss to the Hawks, their division leader. The Cavs are looking to get their winning streak back again and looking to LeBron James who is averaging almost a triple-double per game this year!
My pick: Cavaliers -5
Lakers (6-4) vs. Timberwolves (2-6): This may look like an easy game on paper for the Lakers, but the Timberwolves may have an upside in this game. Coming into the season, I thought that the Timberwolves were going to improve a lot after being one of the worst teams last year with the addition of Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins , but, right now, it’s not happening. The Timberwolves are going against only of the only teams that beat the Warriors. Although, this game could go either way.
My pick: Lakers -3
Suns (3-7) vs. Warriors (7-2): The Warriors are looking great (just like everyone said they would). Kevin Durant’s leading the team in points with 27.6 points per game. Steph Curry isn’t far behind with 26.9. Let’s face it, this game is going to be a completely lopsided game. The Suns will be without big man Tyson Chandler and with the Suns falling behind in the standings, Curry or Durant or maybe even both could have at least 30+ points tonight.
My pick: Warriors -15
