Ichabod Crane Soccer Wins Region by Camdyn Ames

On Saturday afternoon the Ichabod Crane Boys Varsity Soccer team defeated Ogdensburg Free Academy 3-0 in the Regional Finals. Senior George Cox started the scoring with a goal in the first half. About 1 minute into the second half Nick Johnston scored a goal to go ahead 2-0 and Cox sealed it with a penalty kick goal. Overall the game was very physical with many yellow cards on Ogdensburg, a red card on Ogdensburg, and 2 yellow cards on Ichabod Crane. The #7 ranked Rides will take on #3 Hastings in the State semifinals in Middletown at 1:45 on Saturday, November 12th.
