Western Conference Semi-Final Aggregate 1 Recap by Jake Martino
LA 1 Colorado 0
Again, two great games in the west, and it began in LA at the StubHub Center. LA, the lower seed, favored to win the series against the higher ranked Rapids came out like they wanted it.
Early chances couldn’t be converted for either team. Both defenses held for the whole 90 minutes. Except when Dos Santos broke away and scored in the 55th minute to give LA the 1-0 lead and eventually the game winning goal. Colorado nearly found the game winner after LA scored but the comeback attempt failed.
Colorado does have a chance to get back in this only one goal on Sunday November 6th in Colorado. This game can be seen Sunday at 2PM on ESPN.

Another great game in the Western Conference Semi-Finals between FC Dallas and the Seattle Sounders. FC Dallas the #1 seed and the Supporters Shield winner and the favorite to win the series got off to a rough start when in the 50th minute Nelson Valdez scored. If you were FC Dallas, would this make you a little worried? Well, they couldn’t overcome their fear and Seattle struck again in the 55th and 58th minute to go on and upset the #1 Seed in leg 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
