Ichabod Crane Advances In State Tournament by Camdyn Ames
On Tuesday night the Ichabod Crane Riders boys' varsity soccer team defeated Peru 2-0 to advance to the regional finals. The Riders started off hot as Kevin Winglowsky scored off a George Cox corner kick with 29:30 left in the first half. Cox would later add a goal of his own off of a Giovanni Gomez assist to go up 2-0 with 24:02 left. In the second half Peru had some chances but never executed. The Riders will play on Saturday, November 5th in Colonie against Ogdensburg at 2 p.m.
