Cubs Cut World Series Lead To 3-2 by Camdyn Ames
On Sunday night the Chicago Cubs cut the World Series Lead to 3-2 after defeating the Cleveland Indians 3-2. The Indians struck first with a Jose Ramirez homer in the 2nd inning, but the Cubs fired back in the 4th inning scoring all 3 of their runs. The Indians attempted a comeback but fell short only grabbing 1 run in the 6th. Addison Russel led the Cubs offense going 2 for 4 with an RBI. Kris Bryant went 1 for 3 with 1 RBI, a run scored, and a home run. The Tribe's offense was led by Ramirez who finished 1 for 4 with a home run, an RBI, and a run scored. Game 6 will be at Progressive Field in Cleveland at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1st on FOX.
The Cubs will start ace Jake Arrieta and the Indians will toss Trevor Bauer.
